1. Identification
Loocal is an e-commerce platform connecting producers from Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro to consumers. Contact: [email protected].
2. Orders and payment
By submitting an order, you are entering into a sales contract with the respective seller, not with Loocal. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your order is only confirmed after payment is approved.
3. Shipping and delivery
Products are shipped directly by sellers. Delivery times may vary. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Loocal is not responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or seller.
4. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014 and Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact [email protected]. Exceptions include perishable goods, personalized products, or products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened.
5. Warranties and complaints
Products carry a legal two-year conformity warranty under Portuguese law. In the case of a defective or non-conforming product, contact us at [email protected] or use the Electronic Complaints Book available at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
6. Liability
Loocal acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. Responsibility for product quality, conformity, and delivery lies with the individual sellers. Loocal is not liable for indirect damages or loss of profits.
7. Alternative dispute resolution
In case of dispute, you may use a Consumer Conflict Arbitration Centre. List of entities available at www.consumidor.pt.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The competent court is the district of Lisbon, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable legislation.
